I'm delighted to announce the launch of our brand new, much enhanced web site. The site being replaced has served us well, but more than six years have passed since the last major upgrade so this new look is long overdue.
In addition, a great deal has been done "behind the scenes". Many new fields have been added to the database and one or two have been dropped. We feel this now allows us to gather much more focused information both about your home and the exchange you are seeking, (without ever disclosing any of your personal contact details of course).
One sweeping change introduces a second level of Membership. We now offer an Associate Membership that will allow visitors to sign up and contact Full Members without first having to list their own property for exchange. This Membership option is FREE, but I strongly suggest that everyone still gives careful consideration to the original Full (paid) Membership. This option will allow you to create your own detailed home listing and receive your own exchange offers from many thousands of Associate Members located all around the world!
If you are currently a Full Member you need to sign in to your listing—using the email address you have registered with us and your password (VH numbers are no longer required) and update all your information to accommodate all the new fields.
Another upgrade involves your photographs. You can now add as many as you wish and describe each with a caption. All will be able to be viewed at a full screen size (significantly larger than on the old web site). Again, current members should upgrade all their photographs as soon as possible.
By the time this new web site goes live it will have been tested extensively, but it's possible that one or two glitches may evidence themselves during the first few weeks. Our programmers will work to correct any anomalies as quickly as possible. As a thank you, we'll add another three months to your (Full) listing at absolutely no charge.
